What Causes Elevated Fat Levels In Stool?

I have had Diareah and watery stools for 10days accompanied by heavy gas and bloating. It is starting to improve, not so much gas and stool hardening. Test produced blastosystus hominis and elevated fat in stool. Not sure yet about how elevated. treating BH with antibiotic. What causes elevated fat levels in stool?
