What Causes Elevated Heart Rate While On Prednisone?
My mother is 92 years old and went to the doctor last Friday with wheezing and is on prednisone & antibiotic. She is really weak and her heart rate is continuing to be around 112-115 even though her blood pressure is fine and her oxygen is 96%. Blood pressure has ranged from 148/81 to 118/65 this week. I the heart rate a cause for concern or is it just the prednisone?
