General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,my name is dr.Dorina Gurabardhi.
I understand your concern.
High level of urea can be due to many causes.
It can be due to:
-decreased blood flow through the kidneys (low blood pressure, congestive heart failure, shock, bleeding, dehydration) or
-by increased production of urea in the liver via a high protein diet or increased protein catabolism ( stress, fever, major illness, corticosteroid therapy )
I suggest a visit to a nefrologist for further examinations.
Hope my answer was helpful.Kind regards!
