Hello, went for a routine blood test for physical and my liver enzymes were over 2000. Yes 2000. I was admitted to the hospital but released. I have no symptoms. All hep tests have come back normal. I am a social drinker. But have stopped since getting the scores. My ct dye scan was normal. I am extremely fit. I take no weird drugs and have not to my knowledge been exposed to any toxins. What is the deal?
Your liver enzyme values were elevated due to alcohol induced hepatitis. Now you have to stop alcohol as liver is getting affected.
Take green leafy vegetables and fruits more. Just repeat your liver enzymes, reports after week. It's advisable to lose weight if obese.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Parth Goswami,
