What Causes Enlarged Blood Vessels In Uterus?

I am 31 and have had two normally delivered children last delivery almost three years ago. Not pregnant now have four cysts in ovaries with possible endemetrios scarring and very enlarged blood vessels in uterus. I am having a laprascopy done on Friday what causes vessels to do this and how is this treated?

Thank you for the question.

I am assuming that you are having some pelvic pain / discomfort which led to the ultrasound with the findings mentioned. First, ovarian cysts are normal and seen every month. They are part of the normal cycle and not necessarily related to endometriosis. If this is a new problem, then it is less likely to be related to endometriosis. The prominent vessels feeding the uterus are likely related to having had children before. It is sometimes associated with a syndrome of pain called pelvic congestion syndrome.

I hope that this helps and good luck!
