What Causes Enlarged Lymph Nodes And Tonsils Post An Unprotected Intercourse?
Hello about a month ago i had unprotected intercourse and since the day after i have been sick and having other problems. The most constant problem is enlarged lymph nodes and tonsils. About a week ago i shaved my pubic region which led to the Second biggest concern which is redness presented around my hips(pelvic area in general), down to my inner thigh. And lastly I have broken out with red dots all over my my feet to just above my ankle with the concentration of spots being on the tops of my feet. When i went to the local health clinic the ordered an EBV test and said that it looked like i had acquired it at some point but that it doesn t seem to be active. Not sure what do do....If pictures might help they will be given upon request. Thank you.
Tonsils enlargement does not seem to be related to your unprotected intercourse. You may please seek for an advise of an ENT specialist for the same.
However, the enlarged lymph nodes with pustular growth indicates that you have caught some sexually transmitted infection - mostly Lymphogranuloma venereum and Genital herpes. Please report to a Gyaenacologist and STI specialist ASAP. Both the partners need to undergo the treatment simultaneously.
Please observe sexual abstinence till both you are cured of the infections.
I hope this helps you.
