My doctor has found enlarged nodules on my thyroid and were having them biopsied, but in the last two weeks if have random large bruising on my legs arm and butt that I haven t hit on anything and I just left a clients house because she was freaking out because my hands are turning blue. They still look very pale and very blue..not sure what s going on..

Endocrinologist 's  Response
Hello,

Thank you for asking on HCM!

I have gone carefully through your report and I can understand you concern.

Let me inform you that the problem you have is not related to the thyroid nodule or biopsy that you have done recently. If I were your treating doctor I would suggest you to do some further examinations in order to exclude a probable coagulation, liver or rheumatologic problem.

So you will need to do some further examinations such as:
-Full blood count
-AST,ALT,GGT.
-INR,aPTT
-PCR
-CK,CKMB
-Renal function test
You shouldn't neglect the situation.
I opened for further suggestions after the above exams result.

Kind regards,
Dr.M.Guni

Hi
Thanks for consulting us.
First, avoid friction to your skin.We hope for it to be benign. But be prepared to hear about a serious diagnosis from your doctor.
If I were your treating doctor I would do clinical exam of skin and thyroid, biopsy and histopathology of your nodules.
Then I would proceed for coagulation profile and
thrombophilic screening.
I would know drugs you take and stop any blood thinner.
Hope you are satisfied.
HCM shall be pleased to help you in future, too.
