What Causes Episodes Of Raised Heart Beats,dizziness And Shakes?
My sister just turned 22. She is 5ft 2inches 105lbs. She had PDA heart surgery at 11months. She is highly allergic to milk n smoke. She avoids both. She looks very healthy n leads a very active life. She has never had any other health problems, loves to workout n takes no meds. But for the past few months she gets shaky, dizzy, breathless n her heart races off n on. Could this be related to her heart?? Do others who have had PDA surgery as babies develop problems later?? I believed after her surgery as a baby they considered her cured. Thank you soo much for your time n help! :)

Yes it can be related to her heart
pda cause left to right shunt iin intial stages but if remain uncorrected for a long time this left to right shunt converts into right to left shunt due to severe enlargement hypertrophy of muscles of right ventricle.
