I have excessive nasal mucus nasal sores in nose on septum fatigue and chills, what could be the cause? I just took a 10 day antibiotic and still have the same problems. This has been on going for months and no one seems to be able to give me an answer. I feel like I m constantly fighting a sinus infection
Sinus infection leads to continuous drainage if mucous which is produced in the sinus cavity into throat lead to sputum production. It may be due to Infection or Allergy Anatomical defects in septal or cavity Polyps etcetera.
Until the complete examination, it is difficult to say what it is. Avoid allergen and cool water. Avoid smoking and alcohol. Use saltwater gargling and water vapor inhalation thrice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved, please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
