What Causes Excess Saliva In Throat?

Had a root canal two weeks ago it is itchy and very painful then caught the flu Saturday am on tamiflu and z pack since Monday have had dry throat but last two days I feel like there is a lot of fluid in my throat constantly spitting out bitter foamy spit feel as though I am drowning

Hello..I read through your query and I must say that the excess of saliva occurs during first few weeks after any treatment in the oral cavity as the filling is a new material in the mouth it can cause excess saliva secretion.So nothing to be worried in this.It will be reduced after a few days.Regarding bad taste can be due to flu and medicines being taken.Hope you are benefitted something from this reply.Have a healthy day!!!
