Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...my dad had surgery a month ago to close a couple of anerisms found in his groin area...he is 77 years old. He has persistant burping and both feet are swollen below the knees. The burping is excessive more so after a meal...which has only been of soup, toast, tea or rice
Is he alcoholic? What type of aneurysms he have? Why bilateral leg edema Possibilities of he may be suffering from a liver disease which may cause indigestion or pedal edema. The cardiac problem may cause congestive gastro pharyngeal and above symptoms.
Other possibilities like Irritable bowel syndrome or inflammatory bowel problems or food intolerance etcetera. Avoid spicy food and alcohol. Avoid smoking and caffeine drinks. Use a soft diet with probiotics, if symptoms not improved, please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
