Excessive burping means formation of gas in stomach ( layman terms ) and this causes burping .
Following measures may be useful for you.
1 Overeating is the main cause of burping ,so take care about that. When you take lunch , breakfast or dinner , keep one thing in mind that get up from food whenever you feel that still there is a space in stomach for some food.
2 Tension ,
anxiety and
high blood pressure are other common possibility of burping ,so be careful . Get in blood pressure examination.
3 Try raising the head of your bed about 4 inches with blocks. It also might help to avoid eating or drinking for 2-3 hours before you lie down. To help control stomach burping one should not drink alcohol or drinks with caffeine in them or eat chocolates or eat pizza or burger or spicy or greasy food.
Also take some
antacid when you feel burping ,but if there is severe burping ,you may need drugs like some enzyme tablet with pantoprazole-d once or twice in day till complete relief.
But this is a prescription medicine so take prescription from your doctor.
