What Causes Excessive Crying In An Infant With Cough And Phlegm?
my baby had a cough. for 1 week we went to her pedia and gave her medicine for 1 week. the pedia advice my baby to have an x ray. and found out that she has small phlegm in left lung. and yesterday after giving medicine for about 1 week. we found she's okey. only little cough if she's tired.

As you said she is relieved now with her cough symptoms crying at night may be due to numerous reason like colic pain in abdomen, hunger, wet diapers.
In our case it may be due to nose block or breathing difficulty due to cough and phlegm.
Don't worry it can happen sometime to any child.
