What Causes Excessive Dizziness In The Elderly?

I have had dizziness and feelin as if things are spinning since around 4:00 this afternoon. I spent several hours around the pool and thought it was from the sun. I still get dizzy if I move or look around. Any ideas. I am 63 years of age and weigh 130 lbs.

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Dizziness in an elderly subject could be due to iron deficiency anaemia.
Kindly get your blood tested for complete hemogram.
If it is found to to be having anaemia, you need to supplement with iron capsules along with vitamin B12, Vitamin B6 and folic acid.
If anaemia is not the cause, kindly get your blood pressure and undergo cardiac evaluation by consulting Physician.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
Best wishes.
Regards,
