hello sir, good afternoon name- subham age :-26 years height- 178 cm weight:-60 kg history :- i have been suffering from hyperhidrosis since childhood.None of my parents have this.
i am suffering from excessive palm and sole sweating . I have been using "aldry lotion "for last three months but its not effective .Please suggest what i should try next
I have read your question fully and understand your concerns.
As you have already tried the topical Aldryl lotion, you could try oral medication like Oxybutinin 5mg twice or thrice a day or Probanthene 15 mg twice or thrice a day. But majority of patients do have side effects with these medicines and they discontinue it. You could try them and see if you see any benefit or not. As these are prescription only medications, you need to see your doctor for this.
If the tablets did not suit you, you could try Iontophoresis, where a direct electric current is passed across the skin of your palms. Alternatively, you could go for Botox injections. The effects from Botox injections last for upto a year and may need repeating.
I hope this answer has helped you.
Thank you
