I have excessive saliva problems in my mouth since a long time , I feel uneasy to swallow the spit all the time . What might be the cause of time ? Eveytime I talk I drool or excessive saliva gets accumulated and then I have to swallow the spit , how can I get rid of this ?
Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query. The excessive salivation in the mouth can be because of the defect in swallowing threshold or abnormal neuromuscular coordination. The other possible cause can be because of any infection in the oral cavity. Nothing to be panic, consult a oral physician and get it evaluated. You need to follow or do some exercises which improves the swallowing of saliva. Other than these excercises there are certain medications like atropine, these drugs reduces the salivary secretion, but it can produce dryness in the mouth. So consult a oral physician and get it evaluated. I hope my answer will help you, take care.
