What Causes Excessive Sneezing And Congestion After A Colonoscopy?

I had a colonoscopy on Thursday. Felt a cold coming on but no fever. The day after colonoscopy I was sneezing and congested. Took alka seltzer cold in evening and dimatap Sat. Morning. Was that ok to do? Worried it might interfere with anesthia wearing off. Still feeling tired and out of it. Please advise.

Hello

thank you for trusting HCM

Dear yes dear few muscle relaxant and anesthesia drugs may cause non immunological histamine release. I don't know which anesthesia they gave or it may be due to viral fever with rash.

Use tab. moterleukast and levocetrizine at night. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Take care
