Hi, what is wrong when at night, thru out the night, I have to spit up lots of mucus. This has been going on for a few years. I do not have an allergies and this only happens during the night. Then in the morning I have to spit up more for a few minutes. I know this is a grouse question and have been wondering if I should go see a Doctor about this? Thanks
Sputum production without cough mostly due to it is origin from upper respiratory tract infection. It may be due to pharyngitis, sinusitis, nasal polyps or deviated nasal septum or chronic irritation due to allergy.
Avoid cool drinks and freeze water. Avoid smoking and alcoholism. Use water vapor inhalation and salt water gargling. Use tablet alday dc twice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved, please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
