What Causes Excessive Sweating, Body Ache And Tremors During Night Time?

I am a 67 yr. old male. The last three nights I have had sweats, body aches, fever, body trembles, chills. Have taken Advil and this helps to help me sleep. During the day I feel decent with a low fever. No coughing, stomach, or bathroom issues. Infection possible?

Dear User,

The way you have prescribed your symptoms makes me think that yes, there may be an infection (probably in the lungs, although you do not have cough), but still to put the right diagnose you need to write more signs, and explain a bit more about the situation.

Also, if you take other medicine meanwhile, these symptoms may be side effect of the drug.

Also, have you travelled abroad recently? If yes, in which countries?

I find your question in need for more information. I gently ask you to provide more information like: where do you live, where do you work, what medicine do you take regularly, etc.

Meanwhile, I think that you may continue taking Advil, or any other type of Ibuprofen.

I do suggest some blood and urine analysis, to see the overall situation.
