I have a 1 yr. old, that back in June of 2010 (he was 9 months old) he had an eye infection in his right eye. Since it went away, he has had excessive tearing in that eye. It never stops. We have been to the eye doctor and he said he didn't see that the duct was block. What else could be causing this. He has no other symptoms.
It may be blocked ducked duct. His pun tum dilatation is only possible after GA. you can wait for sometime and antibiotic eye drop like ofloxacin.3% can be applied for ten days. Give some massage between punctum and nasal bridge.
