What Causes Excessive Vaginal Discharge And Foul Odour While Being Sexually Active?

A little ashamed to ask my question....but, here goes. I have been having some vaginal discharge, and now there s a foul odor that I wake up to every morning, light must, and death is the only combination that describes it to me, being that I m one with generally good hygiene. I have had two partners both my exes, but never got checked after intercourse. What could this possibly be?

The causes of your issue can be

Bacterial vaginosis can be the cause caused due to oral sex or sex with multiple sexual partners. gynaecologist examination needed to rule out Pelvic Inflammatory Disease PID. Antibiotics like doxycycline will help you.

Diabetes - patient with diabetes are prone to infection. Since you dint comment of your vaginal discharge color.

If its
1.     White discharge with or without itching– fungal infection
2.     Yellow or green - unpleasant smell, isn’t normal. This type of discharge may be a sign of the infection trichomoniasis, gonorrhoea and chlamydia
3.     bloody, brown, or watery discharge - The human papillomavirus (HPV) infection.
