What Causes Explosive Diarrhea While Suffering From Constipation?
I have been constipated for years. Suddenly I had diarrhea for 2 weeks and now have 1-3 bowel movements a day. Very lose and explosive at times. I had stool sample tested and they turned out fine. Other than being very tired a lot I really have no other symptoms
Diarrhoea is defined as having 3 or more loose stools a day. It can be acute or chronic ( the symptoms last at least 4 weeks or more).
If at least 2 stool tests have ruled out any infective causes, then you would need to consider whether it is related to intolerance to any foods that you are using. The other possibility would inflammatory bowel diseases.
You may want to check if you have made any dietary changes that may be contributing to the problem. If this is not the case, then you should consider consulting a gastroenterologist.
I hope this helps
