What Causes Extra Layers Of Skin At The Vagina That Could Be Peeled Apart From Extreme Itching?

I am an 18 year old girl, I have had symptoms of a serious vaginal issue for about 2 years now the interior of the vagina grew extra layers of skin that could be peeled off - extreme itching, to the point the skin is now thin, red and bleeding - I do not know whether to see a dermotologist or a gyn or how to get relief. It is itchy to the point of me having to insert tissue to try and scrub at the itch resulting in bleeding - this is every day and night?

Hi,

You seem to have severe fungal infection in vagina which causes severe itching and the following sequels. The exact nature and severity of infection needs to be judged by detailed local examination followed by oral and vaginal medication for sufficient length of time for complete relief. Sex partner also needs to be treated simultaneously. Please consult a gynecologist. Till then you can apply candid vaginal cream mixed with Soframycin ointment to the itchy part.
