What Causes Extra Lumps Of Skin Next To The Clitoris?
Hi , my question is.. what is the extra two lumps of skin next to my clitoral a.. they have no feelings? i've had it for sometime now but i'm not sure what i should do about it, i don't want surgery at all. i just want to know what caused it? and why is it like this?
Extra skin bumps (lumps) next to the clitoris commonly occur due to ingrown hair, blocked sebaceous glands, Bartholin's cysts, which occasionally can become infected, cysts ( skin cyst, epidermoid cyst, sebaceous cyst) etc. If Bartholin cyst is detected, it may need to be removed surgically. Avoid touching or scratching it. You are suggested to take care of your hygiene.
Other medical conditions that can cause similar symptoms are benign tumors (like hemangioma) and premalignant tumors (vulvar intra-epithelial neoplasia), etc. You are suggested to clinically get examined by a gynecologist. Get STD tests done to stay on the safer side. You may be recommended to get a skin biopsy done if needed.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
