My mother is 76, had caterac surgery on both eyes and since the surgery has complained of extreme tiredness. It has been 5 weeks since her last surgery. (She had surgeries on her left and right eye one week a part) and she is still feeling this way. Her optometrist said her eyes are fine. She went to the ER about 2 weeks after her surgery because she was feeling more tired than after her last surgery. She also had body aches. They ran lots of tests and found nothing wrong. She's had a few good days in the last two weeks, but is still very tired all the time. She had lots of energy and was always on the go before she had these surgeries.
