What Causes Extreme Itchiness After Bowel Movement?
Hi , I itch alot sometimes after a bowel movement and sometimes just itch at any time. There is no blood when I wipe, I have tried prep H it helped a little. I am afraid it may be serious, I am a female age 61, am a diabetic but on meds no insulin and I am concerned actually frightened that it could be cancer. I have not had a colonoscopy. Can you think of what it can be?

I really appreciate your concern, such symptoms could be due to worm infestation and this need to be ruled out and for that stool need to be sent for analysis till then you can try "Steroid contain cream with local anesthetic affect" blood sugar need to be controlled on tight rule basis, this is not the malignant condition, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
