What Causes Extreme Nausea, Loose Stool, weight Loss And High RBC Count?
I have had severe abdominal pain intermittently for 4 years. Every time I go to er or dr I am treated with Prilosec and/or bentyl. It is here again and I have extreme nausea, loose stools, chills, weight loss, lack of appetite and pain that was extremely tender to the touch and still is. I am also depressed. My dr is testing for h pylori. Also my red blood cell count was high.
Here you could have chronic gastritis or ulcer .H.pylori might be the cause.Urea breath test can be helpful. If H.pylori positive treated accordingly.
Second you can also have chronic parasitic infection.Get your stool examine for ova or trophozoites and treated accordingly.
Because anorexia and fever I also want to rule out intestinal tuberculosis. Endoscopy will be useful. From the suspected area biopsy can be taken. And send for histopathological examination.
Meanwhile -take more water -green leafy veg more -fried and fatty food minimum -spicy food less -avoid smoking -avoid meat
If only non specific gastritis comes after endoscopy then omeprazole given , if need antibiotic given.
I hope my suggestion will helpful to you
