I have been having a series (at least 6) of eye infections since having a cataract operation in April of 2010 by a doctor in Penticton. I moved to Vernon in 2013. I am finding it impossible to get past his receptionist and get an appointment so the doctor can view my eye why it is still inflamed. This may be because his receptionist is playing games because I forgot to cancel an appointment some time ago when antibiotics had already cleared up the problem due to the long period I had to wait for an appointment. Details of my experience are recorded on the ratemds site. Is there an official body to which I can register a formal complaint? I am in B.C. Canada
you have developed post operative infection. you are supposed tocontinue steroid and antibiotic drop for some time. it is not possible to advise treatment without examination. at any cost you have to arrange a review. there must be a medical body to which you can approach. you can take guidance from your old hospital by telephone.
