What Causes Eye Pain Along With Sensitivity To Light?

husband suddenly experienced extreme pain in and around L eye, Extreme sensitivity to light, blood shot eye, blurred vision, and the light coming straight into his face was a large whit circle with red around it. Can hardly touch any where inL eye. Put a patch over eye to see if it helps, waiting now..help

he is having photophobia. it can be due to keratitis or dry eye. apply refresh eye tear drop and avoid expouser to sun can put on dark glass.are you using contact lense which can can cause corneal erosion. can discontinue contact lens and start using specs.
