What Causes Eye Sleepiness And Heaviness In The Forehead?
I am 52. I have been suffering for a long lime for eye sleepiness and heaviness in forehead. Again, my weight is increasing. It is about 80kg. (My height 5'2"). Due to this reason, I feel like not to move with others. Kindly tell me the reason for this and how to get rid of this?
Your symptoms could be related to tension type headache or sinus infection. The increase in the weight does not seem to be related to the headache. Psychological stress could trigger all this clinical situation too. A hormonal imbalance can not be excluded either. For this reason, I recommend consulting with your attending physician and performing some tests: - a brain CT scan - complete blood count for anemia - thyroid hormone levels - cortisol plasma levels for adrenal gland dysfunction - blood electrolytes - fasting glucose. If all these tests result normal, you should consider anxiety and psychological stress the main cause of your complaints. You should discuss with your doctor on the above tests. Hope you will find this answer helpful! Best wishes, Dr. Aida
