What Causes Eye Sore, Swelling Around Eye And Cheekbone After Stopped Antibiotics?

i have recently been taking antibiotics for conjunctivitis. it seemed to have gone away so I stopped taking the abs, but this morning the eye is sore, and the area around the eye including top of cheekbone feels warm and looks a bit swollen. Is this another infection?

Hello
It seems from the history that you were on treatment with antibiotics for conjunctivitis and after stopping the antibiotics you are again having sore eye.
This indicates recurrence or persistence of infection and this requires treatment by the use of antibiotics and antiinflammatory drugs.
The antibioitcs may need to be changed depending on the culture and senstivity as even after taking antibiotics the infection may not have cured successfully.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and prescription of drugs accordingly.

Thank you
