What Causes Eye To Be Crusty On The Outside Corner After Waking Up?
I am a 24 year old female, small build. I hit my head on the ground a couple of days ago in a fall, and have since acquired a black eye. When I wake up in the morning, my eye is all crusty on the outside corner. Is that normal for a black eye? Or is this something I should get checked out?
Black eye is due to collection of blood underneath skin of eyelid... Which ll resolve in its own by 2-3 weeks... Nothing to worry about it or take medicines for it... But crusty...??? Do you mean stickiness of eye lashes...??? If so, then its a sign of infective conjunctivitis... You need to start Antibiotic drops...1 hourly initially then tapering...
