What Causes Facial Swelling, Headaches, Nasal Congestion With Elevated Liver Enzymes?

17 yo with facial swelling for 9 days, complaints of headache, nasal congestion with mild elevation of liver enzymes (ALT, AST 118, 117), neg CT of head and sinuses, no improvement with steroids, no new exposures, CRP 1.6, leukocyte est positive in urine, otherwise normal. Teen has had no new exposures, no new cosmetics, no travel history, no uncooked pork eaten. Is currently on Keflex and Ultram. Your thoughts with respect to diagnosis? Hepatitis panel negative. Another virus? hereditary angioedema, autoimmunity?

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
The facial swelling can be because of the tooth infection leading to cellulitis or it can be angioneurotic edema secondary to insect bite or some allergic reaction.
Nothing to be panic, consult a oral physician and get it evaluated. Once the diagnosis is confirmed, if it is a tooth infection then you can take a course of antibiotics like amoxicillin and metronidazole combination.
If it is of allergic origin, then you can take cetrizine.
