What Causes Faint Bruise With A Lump In Center On The Left Side Of Stomach?

I just noticed a faint bruise forming on the left side of my stomachlast thursday. I noticed a bump in the center of it, as the bump has lessened the bruise has gotten darker. There is no real pain., The center of the bruise where the lump was looks veining almost like I popped a vessel or something. Thanks for you help.
