What Causes Faintedness And Blue Colored Tongue

Hello, I have a friend whose lips suddenly go blue and her face pale, she becomes unconscious for about 5 to 10 seconds, last time she even urinated without being aware of it. The next day she is usually all right. She tells me that this is happening approximately once a month , it has happened about 5 times. She is 70 plus and has lots of problems. Her blood pressure is usually 120-70 and her pulse 75 bpm. She has something wrong with the vertebrae of her neck and also a heart condition that was controlled some months ago. Could you tell me what this could be and to which specialist to take her? Should we take her to an emergency service? Thanks a lot.

Neurologist, Surgical 's  Response
Hello,

In my opinion, seizures should be considered in your friend's case. He or she should be seen by a Neurologist for this purpose. Examinations also are necessary and these could be ordered by the Neurologist.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
