What Causes Fainting After A Heart Ablation?

Why did I pass out? Had a heart ablation in January. Felt a bit off all day (very humid during morning walk/jog). Worked very hard all day w/o eating. Bent over while upholstering cleaning a recliner and, boom . down I went. Do not believe that I lost consciousness. Occurred 90 minutes ago; feel okay, now. 68 year old male. Thank you.

HI,welcome to HCM.
Post procedural period can cause disturbances in the vascular tone leading to orthostatic hypotension. This can lead to dropping of blood pressure in positional reclining to pooling of blood in the peripheral veins.I advice you to screen your heart through 2 dimensional echo to evaluate cardiac ejection fraction.Adequate hydration can keep to prevent such attacks.Drugs like flodrocortisone and midodrine can help to treat orthostatic hyoptension effectively.Consult your doctor for further queries.
Thank you
