What Causes Fast Heart Beat Along With Heart Palpitations?
Hi, ive been experiencing a really fast heartbeat after the smallest bit of exercise and also lots of misbeats hundreds if not thousands a day sometimes and feeling very faint what could this be? Im extremely worried doc thinks its nothing to worry about but i cant live my life like this scared to do any sort of exercise
Thank you for your question! First of all I want to advice you to be relaxed and not worried about. I assure to you that almost every person around the planet experiences some little electrical "storms" in his heart beating regimen during his life. So if after consulting your doctor and after physical examination, resting ECG and routine check up lab tests every thing was normal there is nothing to worry about. The only thing that should be done to definitely clarify any rhythm disorder and to lighten your natural concern is to perform a CARDIAC ULTRASOUND to rule out an existing anatomic substrate that may predisposes to arrhythmia (if any evident) and an AMBULATORY 24 TO 48 HOURS MONITORING to rule out any possible rhythm disorder during physical activity and at rest and to quantify the matter. Hope to have been helpful to you. Best regards. Dr. Iliri
