What Causes Fast Heart Beat And Tremors In Head After Smoking Weed?

I feel out of control after smoking weed..... I beat up my friends, feel very cold like i m going to die or almost dead , I feel my veins will burst , my heart beats very fast... I have started to suffer from shakes in head ?? What r the possible reasons and what r the treatments ??

Weed consists of Cannabis as its main constituent. The drug is one of common substance of abuse. It is an activating substance and it causes intense brain activation and autonomic hyperarousal. The symptoms you are having like cold sensations, palpitations, feeling that veins will burst, shakiness in head etc are due to excitement and severe anxiety. I will advise you to quit using weed and it may cause serious consequences in future.

The drug has potential to precipitate acute psychotic episode. Anger outbursts, violent behaviour in your case could be due to this. Chronic use can cause amotivational syndrome.

Try to quit the drug. If there is difficulty in quitting consult a Psychiatrist. As cannabis don't cause serious physical dependence so there will be no serious withdrawal. Short term supportive measure and anti anxiety drugs will help in detoxification.
