Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
When I walk up our one flight of stairs in our house My heartbeat at times will greatly increase this last 4 - 6 months (never use to do this) Im 47 with no history of heart trouble in my immediate family. My sleep has not been the best the last 18 - months to 2 years. At what point do I go in and get checked by my doctor?
climbing stairs will increase HR in all individuals..it is excersie induced tachycardia..as u hv crossed 40 check ur BP once in a month..only if u hv alarming symptoms like chest pain radiating to left arm associated with palpitations, sweating, giddiness, u should go immediately to doctor..
