What Causes Fast Heart Rate After Climbing Stairs?
I have raynaud s syndrome and experience heart racing after climbing stairs all of which started only after I donated my kidney. I have been followed by transplant clinic for 2 yes and they can t explain it. Should I be worried and seek different medical care?
Hello! Thank you for asking on HCM! I recommend you a continuous study of your heart rate. Do perform a 24 to 48 hours ambulatory ECG monitoring to discriminate the real high rate during exertion (climbing stars, etc). That way will be yielded a better opinion about the managing strategy, if abnormality exists. Also, some additional tests should be performed to exclude anemia, thyroid dysfunction, residual renal function, pro-inflammatory state, etc. Hope to have been helpful. Greetings!
