Heart rate and fatigue are in the last month. No pain. I bike and hike but have had some increased SOB with exercise. Have asthma
Fast rate during menstruation can be triggered due to changes in hormones. The rise of progesterone and the fall of estrogen may cause frequent episodes of supraventricular tachycardia (SVT). Women may also experience palpitations during peri menopausal or menopausal phase due to hormonal changes.
Yes, palpitations, can cause fatigue. Other symptoms of fast heart rate are dizziness, fainting or near-fainting, palpitations, light headedness or a pounding or fluttering sensation in the chest. Since you have history of asthma and experience fast heart rate, you are suggested to get thoroughly checked by a cardiologist and get all cardiac function tests, lipid function tests and required investigations done to stay on the safer side. You will be accordingly treated.
