hello,my heart is beating fast after i drank 4 time of protein shake, its my first time today, my heart never beats fast like this before ( only when im going to throw ) , but i dont feel like i want to throw,im in normal mode but my heart beat fast :(, any answer for this!
Hi welcome to HCM. Elevated heartbeat in your case is possibly due to an underlying arrhythmic process being operated in the conduction system of the heart.I advise you to have a baseline ecg and a 2 dimensional echo to rule out organic heart disease. Most of the cases are benign and self limited.Reduce the intake of coffee. In certain cases drugs like beta blockers will help.Refractory cases require electrophysiological studies to document the cause.Radiofrequency ablation will help to offer permanent cure.Consult your cardiologist for further care. Thank you.
