What Causes Faster Heart Rate And Breathlessness When On Alcohol?

Hi I am 39 5 6 and 159 pounds when I drink alcohol my heart races fast and it is hard to breath this just started to happen what do u think is wrong same thing happen to my friend but he checked hid heart and got a stent put in because his artery was clogged can u let me know. Thanks
