What Causes Fatigue And Excessive Sweating?

hello, something very odd has been happening to me for a few months. I wake up fine, always tired but I m hypo thyroid and in menopause - however I take meds for both. anyway, I m fine until after my shower, all of a sudden like clockwork, I get very tired, winded and excessive sweating. as I am also a nutritionist of course I thought sugar levels but it happens with or without food in the am. it lasts for about 20 minutes...usually until I hit my desk at work and then as I m getting busy, it all goes away. its very, very odd and frankly very annoying.

Hi,

Post menopausal syndrome may cause hot flashes and excessive sweating. Hypothyroidism may aggravate the problem.

Other possibilities like major depression or electrolyte imbalance or anemia or restless leg syndrome or sleep apnea etc.

Please check your blood pressure, blood sugar, thyroid status, FSH, LH levels. Take tablet Levocarnitine, calcium and B12.

If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor, he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
