Hello,
Welcome to Healthcare Magic.
I have read your question fully and understand your concerns.
The symptoms that you describe seem like
fainting spells. Vasovagal
syncope (where a patient feels faints on prolonged standing due to lowering of BP) is one of commonest causes. Your symptoms also could be due to low blood
glucose (may be reactive
hypoglycaemia). May be due to longer hours you are not eating well and this is causing low blood glucose levels and low BP and thus causing symptoms. An
absence seizure is also a faint possibility.
Any which way, I would advise you to see a doctor so that he could take a full proper history from you, and run some tests on you, may be do an ECG etc.
The reason why a drink would help you would be because if your glucose levels were low, the drink would supply the necessary calories. Similarly, just the act of sitting and drinking would help to raise your BP and thus relieving your symptoms.
I hope this answer has helped you.
Thank you
Regards
