What Causes Fatigue, muscle Aches And Weight Gain?

I am feeling fatigued, having muscle aches and gaining weight inspite of monitoring food intake and even cutting out bread. I have been gaining at least 2-3lbs a week. I am premenopausal. Is there any chance that I may be experiencing sign of a thyroid problem?

Endocrinologist 's  Response
Hypothyroidism can very well be a likely cause for your present illness. can be confirmed by doing TSH and t4.
But weight gain is not progressive in nature in primary hypothyroidism.
You have to rule out any underlying depression or fibromyalgia. See a physician at the earliest.
