I have a cough that started back during the second week of March 2014. One day I was fine and then the next day I had a feather feeling in my throat that caused me to cough. About ten days later I had a three day period of stuffiness in the nasal passages. The nasal problem went away but the feather in the throat kind of coughing is still with me but it has diminished. The last three weeks I have had a heartbeat in the throat feeling which generally gives me the urge to cough. During all this time I never had the feeling of a sore throat. Is this just a long standing cold or an issue that has cropped up with my thyroid gland. I m am 57 year old male, non smoker.
