Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Fecal incontinence may be due to muscle or nerve damage, constipation, diarrhea, loss of storage capacity of the rectum, surgery, rectal prolapse or rectocele etcetera.

Until the examination is done, it is difficult to say the level of damage.

Avoid spicy food, alcohol, smoking and caffeine drinks. Take high fiber and soft diet. The Bentyl drug is used to relieve spasmodic pain.

If symptoms not improved, then please consult your doctor. He will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
