What Causes Feel Of Air Being Inflated Into Upper Jaw While Blowing Nose?

I dont know why this is happening, but when i blow my nose, on my left side it feels like air is being inflated into my upper jaw right above my top left wisdom teeth, it goes away after about 20 minutes but it really hurts, and it only happens when i blow my nose. The first time this happened i started moving my jaw and and i could hear like a releasing air sound. Any idea what it could be and how to help it?

Otolaryngologist / ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

Did you get a tooth extraction done recently? If so, the symptom you are describing could be an oro-arntral fistula (an abnormal communication between the sinuses and the oral cavity). Please consult a ENT surgeon who will do an endoscopic assessment and an X-ray of the nose and sinuses to confirm the diagnosis and treat accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
