I just recently (last night) woke up in the middle of my sleep and all I could smell was a very strong ammonia odor. I have no idea what this could mean. It has passed now but what should I do if i experience this uncomfortable feeling again? Please help!
Hi, Thanks for asking. Based on your query, my opinion is as follows. 1. Strong ammonia odor is usually due to concentrated urine. 2. Rarely infection may cause it, however, since it has passed without any treatment - no infection can be thought of. 3. Good amount of fluid intake is necessary. Increased water intake of atleast 2-3 liters of water/day is necessary. Hope it helps. Any further queries, happy to help again.
